Crystal, our case worker with Developmental Disabilities, paid us a visit the other day. She was meeting Desirae for the first time. She asked Desirae about her pets, and Desi responded that she has 2 cats. "Their names are Gabriel and Lily, and Gabriel died".
Apparently Gabriel is still with us, at least he is still being counted. Too cute.
She is too cute! Pets seem to stay in our hearts for a long time, especially when they have enriched our lives.
ReplyDeleteOur dog, who passed away almost 2 years ago (WOW. . .it can't be that long already) still holds a very special place in our hearts.
ReplyDeleteThe other day Desi was hanging out down by the rocks on the fence line, and I yelled out..."What are doing", she yelled back "Gabriel". Apparently she was visiting with him for a bit. :)
